POPPY is a two color screenprint of a poppy illustration, surrounded by budding poppies and leaves.
Poppies are one of my favorite flowers, and they have shown up in my work for the past decade. However, the production of this poppy print coincides with the genocide happening in Gaza currently, and poppies are a symbol of Palestinian solidarity and resistance.
11” x 14”, second and third editions printed on French Paper at Lavender Estero Studio in April 2025 (second edition—red) or June 2026 (third edition—yellow, mint green, light blue).
