MARIGOLDS, 3 color screenprint on handmade paper (from old misprints of this same print) measures approx 13" x 17", or on yellow French Paper and measures 12.5” x 19”.
MARIGOLDS is an image I originally designed and printed in 2016, and was out of print for about 5 years. After reprinting this image as a risograph and running out quickly, I decided it was time to return the image as a screenprint.
For the handmade paper edition, I found the paper I made during grad school while cleaning out my storage closet in my apartment. I held on to this paper for years, unsure what to do or make with it. I haven't made paper since grad school but I love the process of reclamation and transformation that it entails. Re-printing the MARIGOLDS illustration on top of old editions of the same print seemed fitting, because despite all of our transformations and life lessons learned, parts of ourselves still remain the same.
Both editions printed in December 2025 at Lavender Estero studio in Pittsburgh, PA.
